YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road Review
During our most recent trip to Singapore in December 2023, we were very kindly invited to spend two nights at the YOTEL branch on Orchard Road to experience the hotel for ourselves and my only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer as it was such a great place to base ourselves for the first few days of our trip!
In my guide below, I’m sharing everything you need to know about booking a stay at YOTEL Singapore, including the different types of rooms and suites you can find, an extensive review of the food and drink on offer at the on-site restaurant, KOMYUNITI, as well as all the facilities you can find inside the hotel!
Rooms & suites at YOTEL Singapore

We spent two nights at YOTEL Singapore in one of their Premium Queen View rooms which boasts a queen-sized adjustable SmartBed™, an epic city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom, tea and coffee-making facilities, hanging space for clothes, a SmartTV, complimentary toiletries, a luxurious rain shower and more!
The adjustable SmartBed™ was a novelty for me as I’d never slept in a bed that you could adjust with the touch of a button before, but it’s a great addition as it allows you to create more space in the room and it also doubles up as a seating area when you’re not using the bed to sleep!
The rooms aren’t super huge, so having the adjustable bed means that you can enjoy a bit more space to walk around!

The bathroom in our Premium Queen room at YOTEL Singapore had one of the best bathroom views I’ve ever had! We had a great city skyline view and we could even see all the way down to Marina Bay Sands which was pretty cool!
Of course, these giant bathroom windows mean that you don’t get an awful lot of privacy when using the facilities, but thankfully, YOTEL Singapore have been forward-thinking enough to install a floor-to-ceiling blackout blind to prevent anyone from being able to look in!
The bathroom is also equipped with a luxurious rain shower, as well as a separate, removable shower head.
In addition to the Premium Queen rooms, YOTEL Orchard Road also boast several other room options, including a Premium Triple, First Class Queen, First Class King and the VIP King Suite View room. You can check the full range of rooms and suites on the YOTEL Singapore website.
Facilities at YOTEL Singapore
As well as the smartly designed cabin rooms, YOTEL Singapore also boasts several other facilities and amenities that help make your stay even more enjoyable.
During our two nights at the hotel on Orchard Road, we managed to experience and enjoy several of YOTEL’s facilities! Check them out below!
KOMYUNITI bar and restaurant

Located on the 10th floor, KOMYUNITI is YOTEL Singapore’s on-site multi-functional bar and restaurant that’s been designed with the intention of creating a community space for people to enjoy from all over the world.
Singapore is renowned for being a melting pot of different cultures and nationalities and the food and drink menu at KOMYUNITI reflects that beautifully!
Spread out across a huge indoor and outdoor terrace, KOMYUNITI is a stunning space for food and drink and you don’t even need to be a guest at YOTEL Singapore to enjoy this wonderful space!

As part of our two-night stay at YOTEL Orchard Road, we were very kindly treated to breakfast each morning of our stay which is served as a buffet inside the KOMYUNITI restaurant.
I’ve always been a huge fan of hotel breakfast buffets and I’m delighted to say that the one on offer at KOMYUNITI did not disappoint! Boasting a hearty selection of hot and cold buffet food, including hash browns, bacon, sausage, roasted tomatoes, eggs and more, plus a fresh fruit and pastry selection, plenty of Asian-inspired dishes and even an omelette-making station, the YOTEL breakfast at KOMYUNITI provides the perfect way to start your day in Singapore!

After a busy day of exploring some of our favourite spots in Singapore, we headed back to KOMYUNITI to indulge in some of the bar’s fancy tipples.
The drinks menu at KOMYUNITI is vast and extensive, with highlights including prosecco, dozens of cocktails, craft beers, wine, spirits, as well as plenty of soft drinks! We enjoyed a glass of prosecco each, as well as the “Tommy’s Margarita” and the “Men’s Pink” cocktails. The cocktails are sensationally strong, so even though they’re not the cheapest at $19 (approximately £11.50) each, I think you get your money’s worth with the amount of alcohol you get!
The food menu at KOMYUNITI is also truly fantastic as it reflects the melting pot of cuisines that is seen so often in Singapore. On the everyday menu, you’ll find dishes such as steamed cajun salmon, Singapore laksa, vegetable makhani, sirloin steak, pasta carbonara, jambalaya, chicken katsu curry and so much more!
KOMYUNITI also offers a wonderful festive menu each year, with festive bar bites such as crab croquettes, truffle pasta, grilled halibut and more making an appearance.
Swimming pool

Guests can also enjoy the sizeable swimming pool at YOTEL Singapore which can be found on the 10th floor, just outside the entrance to KOMYUNITI.
The swimming pool provides the perfect place to seek some much-needed respite from the intense Singapore heat and humidity, but it’s also a great place to relax and unwind in one of the sun loungers or chairs.
To keep in line with the rest of Singapore’s remarkable greenery, the swimming pool at YOTEL Orchard Road is also surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, providing a relaxing oasis in the middle of the bustling metropolis!
Gym

If you feel so inclined to keep up your regular gym routine during your stay at YOTEL, you’ll be pleased to discover that there is also an on-site gym located on the same floor as the swimming pool and KOMYUNITI bar and restaurant.
It’s quite a basic gym, with a couple of treadmills, exercise bikes and weight machines, but it’s more than enough for a hotel gym.
YOTEL Singapore Robots

Undoubtedly one of my favourite parts of staying at YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road was getting to enjoy a first-hand experience with the hotel’s robots, YOSHI and YOLANDA.
These robots are the first ones in the world that are equipped with Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM) technology. This exciting technology means that the robots can navigate their way around the entire hotel and provide you with services such as delivering extra towels, toiletries and bottled water to your room!
We took full advantage of this innovative technology and requested extra water bottles to be sent to our room by one of the robots; they’re so clever that they can even sense obstacles in their way and they even knew to ring the doorbell to our room! Head over to my Instagram Stories to see them in action!
How to get to YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road
YOTEL Singapore is located on the highly coveted Orchard Road, just a 30-minute drive from Changi Airport. It is also possible to take the metro system (MRT) from Changi Airport to the Orchard Road MRT Station, but this will take you around an hour and a half as you’ll need to make a few changes on route.
If you’re travelling from YOTEL to other places in Singapore, such as Marina Bay or Gardens by the Bay, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk to the Orchard MRT Station and then it’s a simple 40-minute ride on the MRT to get into the very heart of the city!
Address: YOTEL Singapore, 366 Orchard Road, Singapore 238904.
