As I mentioned above, the Rockefeller Center is not only home to the remarkable Christmas Tree, but it also boasts its very own ice skating rink.

The Rink is a fantastic place for a romantic date night in winter and it also plays hosts to many proposals over the festive months, so if you’re planning an extra special date night in New York that will result in an engagement, The Rink at the Rockefeller Center is one of the best places to be!

The Top of the Rock and Summit One Vanderbilt are my personal favourite observation decks in New York and they’re definitely the most romantic in my opinion, but the Empire State Building, Edge and the One World Observatory are also excellent options too!

The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park not only plays host to one of New York’s best Christmas markets, but it also boasts its very own ice skating rink that is technically free (if you bring your own skates!).

Ice skating at Bryant Park is another one of my favourite winter dates in NYC as not only is the ice skating rink itself absolutely huge, but thanks to its epic location in Midtown Manhattan, you’re also surrounded by towering skyscrapers as you whizz around the ice!

New York City is home to dozens of Christmas markets from the end of November to the beginning of January, so you’ll have plenty of time to experience them on a romantic winter date.

From Bryant Park’s Winter Village to the many festive stalls at Columbus Circle and Union Square to the Grand Central Holiday Market, there are so many Christmas markets to visit on a winter date in NYC.
