Most of New York’s famous rooftop bars can be found in Midtown Manhattan, but that doesn’t mean to say that there aren’t some truly awesome rooftops in the other boroughs, too.
Enter: Berry Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This epic year-round rooftop bar, beer garden, and event space is a must-visit if you’re staying in/near Greenpoint or Williamsburg Brooklyn, although I would argue that it’s also worth the visit even if you’re not staying nearby.
Berry Park is a female-owned business, ran by two Brooklyn moms (Elena and Jessie), and what they’ve done with the space is truly incredible! If you’re looking for a rooftop bar off the typical tourist track in Brooklyn, New York, check out my review of Berry Park below!
*Unfortunately, my Berry Park photos are not the best quality as we visited at night and I couldn’t quite get my camera settings right, so I do apologise for the lack of super high quality photos!

Berry Park Rooftop Bar Brooklyn

Located in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, pretty much right on the border of Greenpoint and Williamsburg, Berry Park NYC is one of the best and biggest rooftop bars and event spaces in Brooklyn.
Berry Park is owned by two Brooklyn women – Elena and Jessie – and first opened back in 2009, so it’s been a go-to spot in Brooklyn for over 16 years!
One thing in particular that I love about Berry Park is that it’s such a diverse space for myriad events. On the ground floor, you’ll find a huge sports bar with numerous TVs catering to all kinds of sports fans. On the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy a vast seating area, complete with beautiful city skyline views, and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, Berry Park plays host to numerous local DJs.
The events space at Berry Park is so vast that it can accommodate birthday parties, wedding receptions, live music events, and even film screenings!

The rooftop bar and beer garden is less than a 10-minute walk from The William Vale hotel, as well as The Hoxton Williamsburg, Arlo Williamsburg, and the Wythe Hotel, so if you’re staying at any of these hotels, you’ll be super close to this awesome Brooklyn rooftop bar!
Of course, if you’re staying in Manhattan, you won’t be just around the corner from Berry Park, but that doesn’t mean to say that it’s not worth the journey out to Williamsburg to visit the rooftop bar, especially if you were planning to spend a day in Brooklyn anyway.
You can get to Berry Park from Times Square in less than 30 minutes (it does require two subways – there are many routes you can take, just check Google Maps for the quickest/easiest route from wherever you’re staying in Manhattan).

Berry Park rooftop bar menu

The food menu at Berry Park might just be one of the best and most extensive food menus of any New York rooftop bar that I’ve been to so far (and I’ve been to a lot of NY rooftops!).
You’ll find everything from salads to fish tacos to sandwiches, burgers, pretzels, steak, avocado toast, and much more! They also have a dedicated brunch menu, plus delicious sweet treats and desserts.
We tried the grass-fed beef burger and the bacon mac & cheese during our visit to Berry Park Rooftop Bar and they did not disappoint; the portions are very sizeable and I think they’re well worth the money!

There’s also a huge array of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, and mocktails available on the Berry Park menu. We tried the Huckleberry Lemonade and the Strawberry-Peppercorn Pimm’s cup, both of which were absolutely delicious and super refreshing!
Cocktails at Berry Park are actually some of the cheapest I’ve seen at a New York rooftop, with most drinks priced between $14 and $16. The food is also very reasonably priced, with almost every dish costing less than $20, so not only is Berry Park such a fun rooftop bar, but it’s also very affordable!

As Berry Park is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, it doesn’t offer the same incredible views that you’ll find from most rooftop bars in Manhattan, for example.
However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that you could see numerous famous landmarks and skyscrapers in Manhattan from the Berry Park rooftop, including Summit One Vanderbilt, the Steinway Tower, the H&M Tower, the Chrysler Building, and more.
As you can see from the picture above, the views of the Manhattan skyline are super pretty, especially at night, but you shouldn’t expect the same out-of-this-world views that you’ll find at other NYC rooftop bars such as 230 Fifth, The Fleur Room, or Mr. Purple.

Reservations are not required to visit Berry Park Rooftop Bar. As it is such a huge event space, they have ample seating available and they always endeavour to keep a handful of tables free for walk-ins, so you won’t need to book online in advance.
However, they do ask that you make a reservation for parties of 15 or more, so that they are able to properly dedicate a sufficient seating area for your party.
