Glamour King – review of Staypineapple NYC

Glamour King Staypineapple

We were very kindly treated to a discounted Glamour King room during our stay at Staypineapple Midtown New York, which features a king bed, free Wi-Fi, a 49″ flatscreen TV, free tea and coffee making facilities, a free reusable water bottle, free toiletries, a hair dryer, plenty of towels and even pull-out desks in the bedside drawers.

One of my absolute favourite things about our room at Staypineapple New York was just how insanely comfortable the king-size bed was. It was particularly heavenly to collapse into after over 12 hours of travelling from our home in York, England, and it’s undoubtedly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in (and I’ve stayed in over 500 hotels and Airbnbs all around the world!).

While it might not be the largest hotel room in New York City, it’s by no means the smallest, and I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much floor space there was (I’ve stayed in NYC hotels before that had little to no walking room!).

The ensuite bathroom in our Glamour King room was actually one of the biggest I’ve seen in a hotel in a long time; the shower is absolutely huge and so warm and powerful and the free shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturiser were also a huge added bonus, especially as we travelled to New York with just hand luggage, and therefore didn’t bring our own bath products!

The in-room Keurig® coffee machine with tea and coffee was also a surprising bonus as it was so lovely to have the choice of a hot drink on an evening/in the morning.

Our Glamour King room at Staypineapple also came with Dash, the Pineapple Pup, who you could take home with you for an additional $25, as well as complimentary box of sweet treats that were a lovely way to welcome us to the hotel.

With an impressive review rating of 9.2/10 on Expedia and 8.7/10 on Booking.com, it’s no surprise that my own personal experience of Staypineapple New York was so enjoyable!
