The second installment of my travel wishlist posts is all about the various places in Asia that I want to visit. Matt and I are planning on travelling around the world next year and there are a number of countries in Asia that are high up on our list.
Asia is such a huge continent and there’s an abundance of beautiful things to see; I can’t wait to see all the pretty beaches, indulge in the most glorious dishes and experience so many different cultures.
Here’s my ultimate Asian travel wishlist.
Thailand is probably the most highly sought-after place on this list that I want to visit. It really seems like the most stunning place with the most picturesque beaches and I can’t wait to attend many parties in Thailand.
The culture seems so amazing and my good friend is Debra is actually half Thai and after hearing her talk a lot about Thailand, I want to visit this incredible country even more!
Vietnam is a place that I’ve wanted to visit for a very long time now; it’s known for its picturesque beaches, tranquil atmosphere and rich culture.
I’d love to visit lots of the beautiful temples and beaches that Vietnam has to offer, as well as learning all about the ancient history of the country.
This Southeast Asian country is also high up on my travel wishlist as it looks like an absolutely stunning place. The Buddhist monasteries in Laos are something that I’d definitely love to see as the culture seems so beautific.
Matt’s actually been to Hong Kong before and says that it’s one of his favourite places in the world so I can’t wait until we can go back there together. The tall buildings remind me somewhat of New York and as it’s such a vibrant city, I’m sure that there’s so much to see and do.
I’ve always loved the idea of visiting Singapore but ever since reading Katy’s posts about her travels there, my wanderlust has only increased even further.
I’d love to visit the Gardens by the Bay, enjoy all the wonderful delicacies and see all the colourful buildings.
China’s capital is one of the most bustling cities in the world and has so many wonderful things to see and do. I’d love to try out the yummy food as well as to have a go at walking some of the Great Wall of China.
The buildings of Nepal have always been something that have fascinated me and I can’t wait to visit the country. The temples, palaces and museums look truly immense and I would love to experience the culture first-hand.
The bustling metropolis city of Toyko literally looks like my kind of place; it’s a vibrant city with so much culture and I just know that I’d love it there.
I would love to visit the various shrines situated around the Japanese capital as well as admiring all the towering skyscrapers.
I’ve actually visited Dubai before back in 2015 but I would love to head back there with Matt. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to and the glorious sunshine and intoxicating culture had me utterly captivated.
I’ve never been to such a rich and immense place before and I would love to head back to the stunning beaches and spend more time getting to know the city.
The Philippines is renowned for its spectacular beaches and stunning locations and it’s always been a place that I’ve wanted to visit. I can’t wait to relax on the plentiful beaches and I would love to go snorkelling in some of the designated areas.
Cambodia is yet another place that is known for its stunning architecture and fabulous culture and it’s a place that I would definitely love to travel to.
It seems like such a charming and magical place and the Temples of Angkor are certainly very high up on my ‘to-see’ list.
The endless beaches and timeless ruins that Sri Lanka offers are just some of the selling points of this enchanting place. I would love to visit some of the wildlife in Sri Lanka, including the majestic elephants as I really think that it would be such an incredible experience.
India is a country that’s incredibly rich in culture and history and it would be amazing to experience it first-hand. The stunning temples and exciting dishes make India a real wishlist destination.
