Before I developed my immense passion and obsession with travelling, I would consider myself pretty materialistic; I have a love for the finer things in life and as long as you live within your means, then I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
Louboutins have been something that I’ve loved and obsessed over for years now. Ever since I first saw them worn by my favourite Hollywood actresses and then when my mum properly introduced me to them, I’ve been like a magpie drawn to shiny things.
I got these beautiful babies for my birthday a couple of years ago and they’re the prettiest shoes I’ve ever seen. They’re so incredibly sophisticated and while they may be perceived to be slightly impractical, I always feel like I’ve walked out of the set of Devil Wears Prada whenever I wear them. The Very Prive Patent peep toe heels are an absolute work of art; the exquisite black patent finish is truly stunning and the patented red sole that Louboutins are famous for really make the shoes stand out from the rest. I’ve also just Googled them and seen that they have them in red and pink and now I’m currently lusting after them.
They’re certainly not something you could just pop into town and buy as they come with a very hefty price tag; they’re definitely something to be saved up for and then treasured forever. One thing I can’t actually vouch for with regards to these heels however, is the comfort they offer. Because it’s essentially non existent.
My mum owns multiple pairs of Louboutins and she claims that they’re all incredibly comfortable and easy to wear, I however, cannot say the same for my heels. While they really are the most beautiful things I own and I could happily stare at them all day, I really don’t think I could manage to wear them all day…
They are so incredibly luxurious and so, so beautiful though, and I really don’t think I’ll ever be able to part with them!
