It won’t come as a surprise to regular readers of my blog when I say that I’m an extremely sentimental and nostalgic person and this year more than ever, I’ve realised just how incredibly lucky I am.
I’ve spoken about my love for the blogging community before but I wanted to put together another post about what the people that I’ve met through this amazing journey have done for me. In the last few months alone, I’ve grown incredibly close to an amazing number of girls so this post is essentially for them – and girls, you 110% know who you are.
One of my absolute things to do at this time of year is to run a lovely hot bath accompanied by a festive bath bomb from Lush while catching up on my favourite TV shows.
It’s no secret that Lush always seem to excel with their Christmas releases and this year is certainly no different; I literally wanted to purchase everything on their website but I managed to whittle it down to just five festive favourites that I’m sure you’ll love too!
Winter is probably my favourite time of the year to really experiment with my makeup and try out new products. My skin does tend to suffer quite a bit but I think I’ve pretty much nailed my skincare routine so as long as I take extra care of my skin, my makeup tends to sit *almost* perfectly on my face.
The cold season means that Christmas is just around the corner and it’s always my favourite time of year as I’m able to crack out all the red lipsticks, the heavy coverage foundations and all the sparkly eyeshadows. Here are some of my top winter beauty essentials that I reach for as soon as December rolls around.
While I don’t have kids myself, I do have about a million and one younger siblings (read: five) and eight younger cousins PLUS all of Matt’s nieces and nephews so I know quite a lot about what to buy for kids at Christmas time.
I reckon that kids are probably the hardest to buy for at Christmas because they seem to have every single toy under the sun. I’ve tried to break this gift guide into various sections to help you out when shopping for the little darlings this Christmas.
Autumn and Winter is without a doubt my favourite time of year (as I’m sure you’ll know if you’ve been reading my blog for the last few months) but it also means that the temperatures drop significantly, the nights get darker earlier and many people choose to stay indoors instead of heading out.
With this in mind, I began thinking of ways that I could help make sure that people enjoy this time of year as much as possible and when the inevitable winter colds roll around, that they were stocked up with as many essential items as possible.
When Prestige Hampers* got in touch with me about their range of Christmas hampers, I instantly knew that I could use one of the hampers as the perfect care package for someone in need this winter.
