Back in the summer of 2011, my dad was on the phone to some ‘business guy’ and he wrote on a piece of paper saying “do you want to move to New Zealand?” and slid it over to my mum. My mum wrote back “yes” and the rest, as they say, is history.
My parents aren’t your normal run-of-the-mill kind of people; they’re weird and wonderful and that’s why it only took two short sentences to decide to move to the other side of the world. I was in year 8 at the time and I was in no frame of mind for my entire life to be uprooted and relocated to the other side of the world. I had a solid group of friends, I loved my school and I knew that I’d miss my family terribly. In retrospect however, moving to New Zealand was one of the best things that’s ever happened to me and I want to share my experience with you all in today’s post.
Here’s what it’s actually like to move to the other side of the world.
In my latest post in my Valentine’s series, I’m talking all things makeup and how I create the perfect look for a special date night.
Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up all glam, whether it’s for a special dinner with bae or for a fabulous night out with the girls.
There’s a number of products I’ve got lined up for Valentine’s Day this year and I’m so excited to create the perfect sultry look. Here’s all the products I’m using to get ready for Valentine’s Day.
Travelling is without a doubt one of my absolute favourite things to do in the world and it makes me so unbelievably happy.
Travelling with Matt makes me approximately ten times happier. Getting to explore new places with my best friend is a feeling that really can’t be described and we’ve been extremely lucky to visit a plethora of places together already.
There’s obviously an abundance of places that you can visit all around the world and an infinite possibilities of things to see and do, and today’s post is all about my recommendations of the trips you need to take with your partner. View Post
My mum always says “only boring people get bored” and while I do think that’s true, I also think that there’s the odd occasion where you may feel like there’s not a lot to do and you’re basically left twiddling your thumbs.
Even though everyone has a hell of a lot of ‘adult’ responsibilities to do on a daily basis, there’s still times where we all get a little bored, especially during the winter months when there’s not an awful lot to do.
I’ve compiled a list of things to do when you’re bored.
Today’s post is the second installment of my Valentine’s Day posts and I’m so excited for you guys to read this one! For me, Valentine’s Day is an occasion that should be celebrated regardless of your relationship status as it’s a day to celebrate love and happiness with those in your life.
While the romantic occasion certainly isn’t just about giving and receiving presents, it’s always nice to be treated to something special, especially if it’s something that you’ve had your eye on for a little while.
Matt is actually remarkably amazing at buying gifts and experiences that he knows I’ll love (hello, trip to Paris as my Christmas present!!!) but I know there’s a few people out there who may not be the best at purchasing gifts for their loved ones so I really hope this post helps! I’ve tried my best to put together a gift guide for all those people who are struggling to find gifts for their partners this year, so here the things that your girlfriend actually wants for Valentine’s Day.
