A night (or two or seven) in a hotel really is one of my absolute favourite ‘hobbies’; I get so much pleasure and happiness from exploring the various offerings of each hotel I’ve stayed in. From the bedrooms, to the breakfast to the staff, a night in a hotel always makes me incredibly happy.
So when my dad told me that my little sister and I were going to be spending 24 hours in Edinburgh and staying at the mesmerising Scotsman hotel, it’s fair to say that I was just a little excited!
Today’s post is all about our luxurious stay at The Scotsman hotel in Edinburgh and how this might just be one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
As a present for my 20th birthday, my parents booked a night away for Matt and I at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester. We headed for our visit last Saturday and I couldn’t be more thrilled with our stay there.
It’s an absolutely stunning hotel with so many gorgeous amenities and I really couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a more luxurious night away in Manchester.
Here’s 6 reasons why you need to stay at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester.
A night in a hotel is literally one of my favourite things to do. I love them so much I’ve even stayed in a hotel in the centre of York on a number of occasions… A hotel that’s literally two miles from my house.
I’ve always loved the thrill of staying in a new swanky location and getting into a delicious hotel bed at the end of the day. Whether it’s in a nearby city like Leeds or halfway around the world in Dubai, staying in hotels is literally one of my favourite things to do.
I’m incredibly fortunate that I’ve stayed in a number of amazing hotels in my life so far, and while I don’t plan on slowing down my travels anytime soon, here are the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in… so far.
Btw, I’m sorry for the apalling quality of photos; lots of these pictures were taken on the likes of my old Blackberry and iPhone 3. SOZ.
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you’ll know that I spent last weekend at Hollins Hall Marriott Hotel & Country Club with my mum and sister. It was an early Mother’s Day present from my dad to my mum, and my sister and I just tagged along! It was so lovely to just do absolutely nothing for 24 hours (and also have a full body massage and two naps!). I’ve actually stayed at Hollins Hall with Matt before but we didn’t really use any of the spa facilities so it was nice to go back and experience it differently!
