Travelling is without a doubt one of my absolute favourite things to do in the world and it makes me so unbelievably happy.
Travelling with Matt makes me approximately ten times happier. Getting to explore new places with my best friend is a feeling that really can’t be described and we’ve been extremely lucky to visit a plethora of places together already.
There’s obviously an abundance of places that you can visit all around the world and an infinite possibilities of things to see and do, and today’s post is all about my recommendations of the trips you need to take with your partner.
Belize is an idyllic country in Central America that looks beyond dreamy for any young couple to spend a week or two in. There’s some incredible places to stay and I adore the look of the variety of Belize vacation rentals, in particular this one – I just need to convince Matt that we need to go Belize now! I mean, it literally looks like the most picturesque place ever and I’m already dreaming of laying on a perfect beach sipping something delicious.
There’s so many things to see and do in Belize and I totally haven’t already got an itinerary of things to do already… I’ve already got my eye on Ambergris Caye, Xunantunich and the Belize Barrier Reef. The whole place looks like something out of a tropical movie; I’m getting serious Moana vibes just from Google Images alone!
I’ve spoken about Mallorca a good few times on my blog already but I genuinely believe it’s a place that all young couples should visit. The gorgeous beaches, the cheap cocktails and the thrilling nightlife makes for the perfect holiday destination for young couples and I’m already desperate to head back there.
I’m sure you’ll all know by now (especially if you follow on me Instagram) that Matt and I spent the New Year in Amsterdam and it was absolutely fabulous! It’s not the cheapest place we’ve ever visited but it certainly was an adventure and I can 100% recommend visiting ‘dam if you’re looking for a weekend break.
Budapest is one of my favourite places that I ever been to and I would hop back on a plane there in a heartbeat. The stunning architecture, the cool, hipster vibes and the delicious delicacies make Budapest a fab place to visit with your partner.
Barcelona is high up on my travel bucket list as I’ve heard countless things about the city. It’s the perfect combination of city and beaches and it looks absolutely lush. I really hope that Matt and I can head there at some point this year.
Potentially one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris certainly is the ultimate destination for young couples. Matt and I are actually heading to Paris in March and I literally cannot wait. The Eiffel Tower, the sumptuous macaroons and a plethora of sights to see; it really is a thriving place for young couples.
This is another place that’s incredibly high up on my travel bucket list and I can’t wait until Matt and I go travelling around Thailand. The idyllic beaches and exquisite cuisine are just some of the reasons that make Thailand so desirable and from what I’ve heard about it, it’s definitely a trip you need to take with your partner!
The Maldives are literally the real-life answer to paradise and I’m absolutely desperate to go there with Matt. Everything about it seems so magical and romantic and even though I nearly always prefer a city break to a beach holiday, I’m sure I could just about manage the struggle of relaxing on the stunning beaches, cocktail in hand while getting a massage…
I couldn’t not include my favourite place in the world in this list; there’s a reason why NYC is such a highly sough-after destination. My favourite city has a ridiculous amount of things to see and do for everyone regardless of age, but it’s certainly a place that I’d recommend visiting with your other half. Matt and I went to New York on our first ever holiday after only being together for three months and it really couldn’t have been more perfect.
