Before all the Scrooges come down on me for being so early with the Christmas gift guides, I really wanted to put together six different gift guides in the run up to the big day so today’s post marks the first of six for everyone in your life.
Today’s post is all about the presents that the blogger in your life actually wants – whether that’s your girlfriend, your daughter or your best friend – I’ve got you covered!
For the beauty blogger
I wouldn’t necessarily class myself as a beauty blogger but I have written my fair share of beauty posts in the past so I reckon I know a little bit about the kind of things that beauty lovers would like for Christmas.
It’s no secret that in our industry, we all fall into the hype of new beauty releases and when the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette was released earlier this year, it’s safe to say many of us fell head over heels for it (myself included). I definitely think that the Naked Heat palette would be a perfect gift for any beauty blogger who doesn’t already have it.
Another eyeshadow palette that’s a winner in many blogger’s eyes is the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette. Bonus points if you can manage to buy the whole Naked set for the beauty blogger in your life!
Anything from Charlotte Tilbury is always a winner in my eyes because the rose gold packaging is literally every blogger’s dream. The lipsticks from CT are some of my all-time favourite products ever and if someone wanted to buy me some more for Christmas I wouldn’t mind…
A skincare product that anyone would love for Christmas is the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish beacuse it’s basically heaven in a bottle. I may be slightly biased here but I do know so many beauty bloggers who adore this cleanser and I’m sure they’d love another bottle of it for Christmas.
Other gifts for the beauty blogger:
For the fashion blogger
Ok, so if you’ve followed me on these parts for a while now, you’ll undoubtedly know that I’m the least fashionable person on the internet. However, I do follow a decent amount of fashion bloggers so I’d like to think that I have a fairly good idea what those fashionistas would like for Christmas.
Cosy jumpers are always a good bet for literally anyone at this time of year but I’m sure the fashion blogger in your life would thoroughly appreciate some cute and cosy jumpers for Christmas this year. ASOS, New Look and TopShop are always great places to pick up some lush finds.
Jewellery is always an incredibly thoughtful gift for anyone and the more rose gold and pretty it is, then the more it’s likely to be a success with the fashion blogger in your life.
Other gift ideas for the fashion blogger:
- Fluffy socks
- Gift vouchers for their favourite high street store
- Cosy pyjamas
- Matching hat, scarves and gloves
For the lifestyle blogger
I would say that I fit more into the ‘lifestyle blogger’ category as I tend to literally just blog about everything and anything. Buying gifts for a lifestyle blogger is potentially the easiest person to buy for as you can pretty much guarantee that we’ll love anything you get!
One gift that is bound to go down an absolute treat is an abundance of notebooks; we all know that you can never have too many notebooks and Christmas time is the perfect time to stock up on all the cutest stationery.
I was lucky enough to be gifted this fabulous ‘I’m Just A Girl’ mug from Brinley Williams* and I couldn’t think of a gift that would be more perfect for a lifestyle blogger. I don’t know about you but when I’m writing blog posts all day, I go through copious amounts of cups of tea and I absolutely adore using this fab mug. The personalised element of them is so cute and thoughtful and they’re an incredibly affordable gift.
Other gifts for the lifestyle blogger:
- Candles (you can never have too many candles!)
- Laptop skin or phone case
- Literally anything rose gold
- A quality blogging camera (if you really love them, that is)
- Cute things that could be used as blog photo backgrounds
For the travel blogger
If I had it my way, there’d be a whole lot more travel related posts over on these parts but that’s just not possible right now. However, that doesn’t mean that I don’t love to write about travel whenever I can and I always have a few travel related presents in my mind.
I’ve written about the Ultimate Travelist guide before but I deffo think it’s worth mentioning again because it’s such a useful book for a travel blogger to have in their arsenal. It’s full to the brim with the world’s most wanderlust worthy places and I can literally spend hours pouring over the pages.
As previously mentioned, a mug can be an incredibly useful gift for any blogger but a travel related one is always a great gift because it shows that you’ve really thought about their passion for travel. Whenever Matt and I go anywhere on holiday we always pick up a new mug so that when we finally have our own place, we’ll have an awesome collection of mugs of all the places that we’ve been to!
Other gifts for the travel blogger:
- Plane tickets (again, if you really like the recipient)
- A spa weekend away somewhere
- A huge photo album where they can document all their best travel memories
- A new suitcase set (my grandma bought me one of these last year and I LOVE it)
- Mini travel gift set (hand luggage size)
What kind of gifts would you like to receive if you’re a blogger? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter @imjustagirl_16.
