Autumn Bucket List

autumn bucket list

I am so unbelievably happy that autumn is officially here; it’s my absolute favourite season and I literally “come alive” during the colder months.

Autumn is when I feel the most happy and the most productive and after an incredible summer, I already know that this is going to be the best autumn yet! Today’s post is all about my autumn bucket list and everything that I’m hoping to do in the next few months; picture cosy nights in front of the fire, copious amounts of hot chocolate and every TV series and film imaginable!

  1. Enjoy walking through the crispy, orange leaves.
  2. Drink my bodyweight in hot chocolate.
  3. Read cosy books while cuddles up under a blanket.
  4. Light lots of candles and turn on twinkly fairy lights.
  5. Wear ALL the huge, knitted jumpers.
  6. Enjoy everyday of Blogtober.
  7. Take lots of cute, autumnal Insta pics.
  8. Carve pumpkins with Matt.
  9. Celebrate Halloween with my family.
  10. Get a pair of really cute boots and wear them with fluffy socks.
  11. Decorate our bedroom and make it look all autumnal (pine cones, leaves, pumpkins, fairy lights…).
  12. Watch Halloween movies with Matt (even though I’ll be bloody terrified).
  13. Have more girly sleepovers with my ultimate babes.
  14. Spend a Friday night in drinking wine and chatting.
  15. Bake at least one autumnal thing.
  16. Have a Gilmore Girls marathon.
  17. Snuggle up with a hot water bottle and have a blog commenting session.
  18. Watch the sunset.
  19. Paint my nails lots of autumnal colours.
  20. Watch a firework display.
  21. Enjoy all the cosy TV shows (including I’m a celebrity!).
  22. Eat lots of delicious, warm food.
  23. Take lots of baths with my Lush Halloween goodies.
  24. Embrace the cold and enjoy wrapping up warm.
  25. Spend an entire day doing absolutely nothing.
  26. Drink lots of tea and enjoy the misty mornings.
  27. Spend an afternoon catching up with my grandma.
  28. Get a salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks.
  29. Have lots of date nights with Matt – both at home and out and about.
  30. Go shopping with my mum for autumn clothes.
  31. Eat lots of Halloween goodies.

  1. I am definitely hoping for productive autumn as well, I definitely feel more inclined to sit down and get things done when the weather is a little chillier outside! Carving pumpkins, taking autumnal Instagram photos and cuddling up under a blanket with a book are definitely things I’d like to do this year as well!

  2. I absolutely loved reading this, so many great things. Walking through crunchy leaves is definitely something I love to do and is probably one of my favourite things about Autumn, I’m such a Summer girl, but must admit I love doing a lot of these things too. I can’t wait to see what you and Matt carve in your pumpkins.

This autumn is a pretty big deal for me as I’m getting married in a month, and then going to Mexico – which I’m very excited about but it won’t be very autumnal there! So I’ll have to make the most of it beforehand! Lots of hot chocolate, cosy knitwear and gorgeous autumn photos are definitely on my bucket list!
