When T-Zone first got in contact with me about their new Charcoal and Bamboo Range, I was immensely excited as T-Zone is a brand that I’ve loved and used for many years to treat any teenage blemishes that popped up.
Skincare is my new beauty obsession and since trying out the new range that’s available from Superdrug, I’ve noticed a dramatic improvement in the state of my skin and it’s now looking better than ever.
The Peel Off Mask was actually the product that I was most excited to try as I’m literally the biggest fan of face masks. Settling down in a nice hot bath with an episode of Netflix and a lovely face mask doing its magic is one of my favourite ways to spend a Sunday afternoon. When I first tried this mask, I was hugely surprised at just how thick it was; it’s literally like tar! The consistency of the mask makes it somewhat hard to spread evenly across your face but once you’ve got the hang of it it’s not too bad. The mask takes around 10 to 15 minutes to dry (depending on how thick you layer it) and usually begins to start peeling off a little itself. I won’t lie: this stung like a b*tch when I first tried to tug it off but after gently wiggling it a bit, it began to come off much easier. It left my skin looking a little red at first but once it settled down I noticed how much tighter and brighter my skin looked. I did enjoy using this mask, and I’ll continue to do so, but I’m afraid the L’Oreal Pure Clay Face Mask still holds the number one spot in my heart for face masks.
The Nose Pore Strips were another product that I was excited to try as I tend to get a lot of blackheads on and around my nose so I knew that these would be perfect for me. I wasn’t wrong – my blackheads were significantly reduced after using one of these bad boys. I also convinced Matt to try them out and he was equally as impressed with how good they were. My pores definitely feel unclogged after using these and while they can be just a tad tricky to stick down (you really need to make sure your nose is very wet before application) once they’re on and working their magic, they’re absolutely great.
I have to admit – this product was the one that I was probably the least excited about but it actually turned out to be my favourite! It smells incredibly clean and fresh and I love how it’s a black liquid that lathers up into a wonderful face wash. While it’s not the greatest product in the world at taking makeup off, I’d definitely say that this is a great product to use for double cleansing as it helps to wipe away a lot of grime and dirt that can build up in your pores. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and fresh and I really cannot recommend it enough. This was another product that I convinced Matt to try out and he’s taken to using it most days too! I can 100% say that I will be repurchasing this product once it runs out (which won’t be for a while yet as it lasts AGES, unless Matt decides to use it all…) as it honestly has done such wonders for my skin. Priced at only £3.25, you almost can’t afford not to buy this.
I am so impressed with the Charcoal and Bamboo Range from T-Zone and I’m so delighted that I got to try some of the fabulous products out. I can definitely recommend purchasing the face wash and the nose strips but I’d maybe approach the peel off mask with caution, especially if you’re prone to sensitive skin.
